After losing both my parents tragically in one day, my beautiful Grandmother is the last of my living grandparents. While growing-up, we could hardly wait to visit her on the weeks and eat her homemade biscuits with honey syrup...Oh, and fried chicken she cooked fresh from her farm. Granny’s faithfulness and love for GOD influenced my Mother to follow JESUS, which helped anchor my soul. GOD has been good to this 82 year old beauty. When I see her, I see my Mother. I Love you Gramny! | Papa Goose and I can never get enough of serving as Fairy godparents to Children of our family and friends. We fell in-love with the Pollocks and their beautiful sons and daughters (two elder brothers are attending college). Congratulations on raising a lovely family! | This delightful Southwest Captain and Crew kept the ‘magical’ dust of Las Vegas going as passengers boarded for a magical airplane ride back to the Lone Star State. The crew treated us like ‘Rock Stars’ as they assured our safety and served us with genuine compassion. My heart was filled with admiration as I watched the crew give so much of themselves. As our Captain spoke on the intercom with his friendly voice, I could hardly wait to “get caught” with such a DYNAMIC team . . . |

A hotel stay would not be as pleasant without the love of one’s profession and the strong desire to maintain happy clients. Now...I like to enjoy my beauty sleep until 11:00 a.m. because I begin writing in the wee hours of the morning. It’s just so wonderful knowing that the Tender Loving Care Maidens allow me to catchup on some zzzz’s and tidy my room a little later during the day. I Love these special ladies! | This was a sweet Dad who frequently sees us passing through the airport en route to Indianapolis. As he and two young ladies waved at us, I was told he wanted to take a photo for his daughter but was too afraid to ask. So, moved by the SPIRIT, I approached their work booth. We talked as if we had known each other for years. Then, they ran and grabbed this nice young man. He was surprised and happy as his wish came true. Their kindness was a blessing to me this morning! | Their claim to a successful marriage was, “We really LIKED” each other!” We met this beautiful couple celebrating their 40th year Anniversary In route to Vegas; and guess what? making you feel so special and loved. After all, JESUS told us that the world would know we were Christians by our Love for each other? Consider JESUS, as LORD of your life today. |

I met these two princesses on our flight back home. The oldest princess was in 4th grade and loves to write, while the little princess is a first grader, who enjoys coloring and reading. We met this wonderful young man enroute to Hawaii at Southwest terminal 27. My friend told me that he worked for a large technology company, had a beautiful family, and wanted to know more about Mama Goose Books. Evidently, since he was the first person to board the plane, he must have been promoting my brand to Henry, one of the airline stewards. As I approached the aircraft entrance, he yelled my name as others clapped; he even promoted me on his social media platforms! He was the genuine one! | As they pass by me while I was reviewing a new book we published this month, his mother and this little Prince walked by. The mother said, “Oh, look at her!” and he shyly smiled. She later explained that he wondered who I was. Long story short, Mason informed me that he was in the 4th grade and enjoyed reading and writing. His aspiration is to become a veterinarian or soccer player! Good Luck Mason! | Sometimes, one side of the world is waiting to say ‘Hell’ to another! While leaving San Jose, I was sitting next to this sweet young lady, Vicki. She said she was a hair stylist by profession and was visiting her sister in Florida. She also described the beautiful and massive Chinese New Year events in San Jose. What I loved about Vicki the most, was her unforgettable kindness with a slice of laughter that made you want to be as kind as she was. We hugged and said goodbye and boarded South West. |

I do enjoy individuals in service and truly LOVE their occupation! After an inquiry from the hotel restaurant about a hotel service I wanted, I quickly spoke with Silvia, the manager. She was very cordial and understanding toward my needs. In no time. my simple request was fulfilled. With haste, I was compelled to meet this young lady. While chatting, Silvia shared she had an 8 year old son she reads to every night. It’s always good to know a little bit about people you meet! | Wow! If the world had more grandparents such as this lovely couple, our future generations would have an incredible line of support! Seek the LORD while HE may be found! | During our stay at the Doubletree Waikiki, I met the charming Cheryl Nasser, Director of Sales, Marketing, and Revenue. It was ‘Love at first sight’. She adored my costume and what we were doing for children in promoting ‘A Love for Reading’ through Mama Goose Books. Inspiring the young and young at heart is such a wonderful way to minister Joy, Kindness, and Love . . . |

These beautiful faces greeted us every morning during breakfast at the Double Tree in Waikiki. The maidens inquired about the breath of time it took to get dressed. My response was, “ It all depends upon how fast or slow I want to move that day!” They seemed to have gotten a good kick out of that reply. Respectfully, the food was superb with choices ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous. Be it Continental or Hot, native Hawaiian or American . . . the choice was yours! | Zippy’s is a very popular restaurant chain in Honolulu. On our way to worship with the saints at the Northwest Church of Christ, we ran into this grandmother and her wonderful grandsons during breakfast as they closed-out their annual family reunion in Arizona. | After a smooth landing at the John Wayne Airport, I knew that Disneyland was not far away. As my mind began thinking about the name of the airport, the famous words, “Well, I’ll tell you pilgrim” was a subtle reminder of a pioneer of the west, who was the epitome of toughness, strength and gentry. On our way to the rental car section, I couldn’t resist a “Kodak”moment with the colossal 20 ft. bronze edifice of “The Duke” himself. | “I am the captain and I’m delighted for you to meet my co-pilot" ... (a male.)
